Our new website: a joint project by the whole STAV team
A new website isn’t created solely on a computer screen. That’s why our working session on 28 July 2026 was such an important part of the project: the entire STAV team was involved in the development of the new website.
Every day, our staff see first-hand the questions students have when looking for a job, the information employers require, and where processes could be made even clearer. It is precisely this knowledge that has been incorporated into the new website.
Together, we discussed how job vacancies can be presented more clearly, what information needs to be more readily accessible, and how we can target students and employers even more effectively in future. The focus was not just on a modern design, but above all on greater ease of use and clearer processes.
The new website is designed to help students find a suitable job more quickly. Employers should be able to describe their staffing needs in a straightforward manner and reach suitable students. At the same time, we want to maintain the personalised support that has characterised our placement service for many years.
There is still a lot to do before the website is complete. One thing is already certain, however: the new website is a genuine collaborative project to which the entire team is contributing their experience, ideas and diverse perspectives.
Our goal remains unchanged: to bring students and employers in Dresden together even more easily, quickly and effectively.
